woman when she died in 1865.
In the same year, Dr Elizabeth Garret Andersen
became the first woman to become a doctor in
Great Britain.
Dr James Barry has shown us that girls are clever.
Girls are brave. Girls have dreams. Girls can fight for
what they believe in. And girls can become doctors!
