Sarah Sues Santa – P.J. Leonard

About the Author

P.J. Leonard grew up in Worcester, UK. He attended Gorse Hill Primary School, followed by the
Royal Grammar School Worcester.

His full name is Peter John Leonard, but the abbreviation of 'P.J.' is what he is usually known as
among friends and family, also to avoid confusion with his father who has the exact same name.
Technically he could call himself 'Peter J. Leonard the Fourth', but he isn't that deluded. Yet.

He first found a love for writing aged nine, when he took what was meant to be a one-page short
story assignment and turned it into a 10-page epic, much to the chagrin of his teachers and he's been
writing ever since.

At age 18 he moved to London to attend Roehampton University, where he studied Creative
Writing and English Literature. After graduating in 2007, he treated himself to a solo trip to Japan
and instantly fell in love with the place.

In 2010 he moved to Japan and lives there to this day, enjoying the hiking, Japanese culture,
photography, and the traditional Japanese sport of tussling for the free seat on the train every
morning at rush hour.

P.J. currently lives on the outskirts of Tokyo, working in the heart of the city by day and feverishly
writing by night.
