“I beg to differ,” he heard. He looked around, confused. There
was no one at The Ponds but him.
“I am down here human,” he heard. Dan looked down and in
the water he saw what looked like a green face with big white
eyes. Dan was puzzled.
“Let me help you there,” said the green thing as he emerged out
of the murky water. Then Dan heard a croak sound.
“A frog, a talking frog!” he said.
